Fun in St. George

My brother Tim and sister in law Jamie have a home here in St. George. Cousin A is on the left, cousin K and Aunt Mandy at Tim's house. K and Mandy drove up with us from Kingman since they were homeless from the hurricane.

S is enjoying his new and only boy cousin on my side of the family. He thought it was great that there was someone smaller than him.

I know everyone has been waiting long enough for pictures of our new humble abode here in St. George. This is all I have so far. I have more pictures on the camera but can't find the cord that attaches to the computer. So everyone is just going to have to wait a little longer.

September Activities

Because of the hurricane in Houston, Mandy, K and R joined us in Kingman for a few days. It was so hot outside that they stripped down to undies to enjoy the pool.

S was sooooo tired, but screamed until he finally fell asleep like this. I checked on him to make sure that he was okay and this is what I found.

H is out messing around at T's soccer game. This was right before we moved to St. George.

S also loved to run around while T played soccer.

Here is S for his 2nd birthday. We celebrated it in Mount Carmel. We stayed in the trailer for a week while we visited Zions, Bryce Canyon and the Coral Pink Sand Dunes. This is S's gift. He wasn't sure what to do at first.
Here is S and H. As you can see S learned what to do in no time.
S's is enjoying opening his other gifts from mom and dad and from Nana and Papa.
A had to celebrate his birthday with S this year. This was A's BIG 40th birthday! What a bash!
S was so excited that his birthday was Lightening McQueen. He watches this movies multiple times a week.

Bryce Canyon and Coral Pink Sand Dunes

Zions National Park and Grand Canyon

Papa/Dad showing us his sexy man pose while swimming in the river at Zions. It was so hot there everyone was taking a dip.
The family took a hike up the mountain in Zions. This hike was almost straigt up and you had to cross a man made bridge across the edge of the cliff. Papa doesn't look it, but his was scared to death. The fence behind us was right on the ledge of a cliff that went to the bottom of the canyon. We were up very high. It was really pretty!
S was making new friends wherever he could. This little boy and S were running around and climbing this tree. This tree was huge, it shaded all the grass in front of the Lodge.
H and T on another hike we took up to what is called Weaping Rock. It was pretty cool, right out of the rock came water. They estimate that the water that is coming out is about 1400 yrs old.
This is Nana/Mom taking a break on the long hike/walk that leads you to the bottom part of the narrows. On this trek is where we went swimming.

Trip to Zions National Park and the Grand Canyon

This is out front of the Lodge in Zions, it was so pretty there and very hot! We ate pizza here two days in a row.

Hi all, just letting you know that our camera was left at a park and then something or someone took it. Hopefully soon we will be able to start taking pictures again. I am very bummed because the camera card and camera were full of pictures. All from Adri and Josh's wedding and our trip to SL and much more. Keep checking in and see if I've made any new progress.

Phoenix and the Zoo

We went to the Phoenix Zoo with A's side of the family. T, H and Jordan and Aunt Staci with the Giraffes.

The kids have had it. We were at the Zoo for about 5 hours. We were in Phoenix March 13-16th. It was a lot of fun.

Sedona Arizona

These pictures are from our anniversary in Sedona Arizona. I took a picture of A because he kept having us go to Walgreens for something!
This is a church that sits on the edge of the mountain. You can't see it from here, but it is really neat.
For those of you who didn't know that Lucille Ball and Desi Arnez lived in Sedona, here is the front and back picture of their house.
A and J went on the pink jeep tour. It was so much fun! This is a picture of us going down rocks on the side of the mountain. They rate 4 wheeling from a 0 to a 5. The tour we went on was a 4.5 so you can imagine how ruff it was.
This picture on the left was the car behind us going down a "controlled slide". It is a lot steeper than it looks. The picture doesn't give it justice.
This picture of A and J is at the top of the mountain. Yes we went up just as steep of climbs. We sat in the back seat that hangs over the back of the jeep. Sometimes we thought we would either roll backwards or the seat was going to hit the ground. It was so much fun!!

Princess got her first haircut today since we got her. When they brought her out I thought they had brought me the wrong dog. They shaved her to look like a poodle.

Hotel and Bday

I know this post is out of order. J and the kids stayed at the Holiday Inn in Cedar City on our way home from Christmas in Utah. This is on
New Year's Eve. They were getting ready to go swimming.
This is H's bday party we gave her at Pizza Hut. She didn't know she was having it. She was so shocked when we got there and saw the table and baloons.

Since no one could be at H's party, here we are singing Happy Birthday.

Grand Canyon Cavern

S in a coon skin cap from the gift shop at the caverns. Isn't he adorable!
Here we are about 350 ft below the surface. You can't really see it very well, but the cavern goes way back.
This is a cat that fell into the cavern and because of the little amount of air and how dry the air is the cat mummified.
This is the entrance to the caverns. We all went on Memorial day '08 with aunt staci. S couldn't get enough of the dinasour. He kept growling at it and saying "Big Grrrr". If you are ever visiting us , the caverns are only 60 miles away!

Colorado River

We spent Thanksgiving this year at my brothers home in St George, Utah. Here is a couple of pictures of the kids. We had all the grandkids there except for my sister Mandy's kids who had their Thanksgiving in Texas.

The Colorado River

As a family we went to Laughlin to go on a tour boat up the Colorado River. The water is so clear. They said that it is the cleanest river in the United States. We also got to see the Davis Dam, which is the dam below the Hoover dam that helps control the water flow. If you are ever in Nevada, Laughlin is a fun place to see.

Yes, this is our new Puppy! Her name is Princess. We got her on Friday for T and H birthdays. It is a little early for their b-days, but she was so cute, and they said they wouldn't be breeding anymore until February. Princess is 9 wks old, she is a Bishon and Poodle mix.

I finally decided it was time to make a bold move and cut my hair off. So I cut a very short, dyed it blonde on top and dark brown on the bottom. So here's the new me! T and H also got their hair cut today, don't they look great! As for S, he just wanted his picture taken. Adon, well his time for a haircut will be coming soon, but for now I hope you all enjoy the new us!

Happy and Tired Parents

Well, I think that we have settled in to our new place. A is enjoying his job in the Emergency room. So far he has only worked late shifts, but we are getting use to the new lifestyle. J has finally put the house together. Now that things have settled down, J has decided to go back to school and get her degree in Psychology. Eventually hoping to get her Masters in Clinical Psychology. J will be starting school the first of January at the University of Phoenix. The family, or atleast J and the kids will be going to St. George for Thanksgiving. Then for Christmas we will be spending time in Salt lake with both families.

Here is our new little home in Arizona. This new town is a much different place than Vegas. A lot slower pace and everything is within 5 miles. We have downsized quite a bit from Vegas, but everything fit! Thank goodness!
